(April 2009) Scott M. Zurakowski has been recognized as one of the 2009 twenty young professionals under the age of 40 presented by Ystark!, a project of the Canton Chamber of Commerce. Zurakwoski is a director with Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., L.P.A.; his practice focuses in the areas of corporate law and employment/labor litigation.
The Alliance native received his B.A., from Mount Union College, and his Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University Petit College of Law. He is a past member and chairman of the Plain Township Zoning Commission; a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Alliance Chamber of Commerce and served as its Legislative Committee Chairman from 2000-2008. He has been named to the distinguished list of Ohio Super Lawyers® - Ohio Rising Stars (2006 and 2009), a project of Law and Politics and the publishers of Cincinnati Magazine.
Extremely active in the community, Zurakowski is presently Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Legal Counsel to the United Way of Greater Stark County Inc., and served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Mount Union College Alumni Council from 2006-2007. Zurakowski is a graduate of the 17th Class of Leadership of Stark County.
