History of Our Firm
The late Samuel Krugliak emulated a passion for the practice of law that reflected in everything he did. As a young litigator Sam’s ability to take charge of a courtroom was admired by many in and out of the legal profession. As Chief Assistant Stark County Prosecutor, he honed the skills that would form the basis for his aggressive style of business and labor practice. The Firm Name Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., L.P.A. was Born
Ronald W. Dougherty joined the firm in 1960, followed by David L. Simiele in 1963. In 1966, with the addition of F. Stuart Wilkins, the firm name Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., L.P.A. was born.

Firm Relocated to Downtown Canton
In 1970, with seven lawyers including David L. Simiele, Fred J. Haupt, and John G. Haas, the firm offices were relocated to the then Citizens Savings Building on the square in downtown Canton.

Firm Relocated to Its Current Location in Canton
In 1992, when the Stark County Commissioners purchased the Citizens Savings Building for county offices and courts, the firm, then consisting of 20 lawyers moved to its current location in a state-of-the-art facility (designed for its purposes) at 4775 Munson Street NW, Canton, Ohio in the Belden Village area.
