The law firm of Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., L.P.A. is proud to announce that David J. Lewis has recently joined the firm as shareholder and director. The addition of Mr. Lewis enhances the strategic growth of the Akron office, which opened earlier this year downtown in The Akron Centre. “We are very excited to welcome David to our firm; his depth of experience and strong ties with the business community mesh well with our expanding team and growing client base in Summit County and Northeast Ohio,” said Terry A. Mr. Lewis concentrates his practice in taxation and business law. He received his B.B.A. Degree in Accounting from Kent State University, his Juris Doctorate cum laude from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Ohio. He is a member of the American, Ohio and Akron Bar Associations, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of CPAs. Mr. Lewis lectures frequently to lawyers, accountants and professional associations on taxation and business developments. In addition, he is an adjunct faculty member of the University of Akron where he teaches “Tax Practice and Procedure” to Masters of Taxation candidates and law students.
Mr. Lewis has been selected by his peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America®, was named to the prestigious list of Ohio Super Lawyers®, and has been recognized as one of the “Top Attorneys in Business Services” (Tax) in the Corporate Counsel Edition of Super Lawyers®. Mr. Lewis resides in Hudson with his wife Marilyn. They are parents of three adult children.
