We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of our long-time partner, former Managing Director, honored colleague, and friend, John J. Bogniard. John graduated from Allegheny College in 1969 and received his Juris Doctor Degree, cum laude, in 1972 from Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. John practiced with Krugliak Wilkins for 49 years. The majority of John’s practice was involved in representing management in labor negotiations and arbitrations, as well as union election campaigns, as well as the general practice of business and corporate law. His professional and community affiliations and activities were numerous, including serving as Chairman of the Board of the AAA Ohio Automobile Club and Board member of Refuge of Hope Ministries. John was selected by his peers for listing in Best Lawyers in America from 2007 to 2021, and received an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
John was a devoted and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, and a consummate professional and supportive colleague to all of us who had the honor of practicing with him at Krugliak Wilkins. You don’t replace a John Bogniard, you just honor his memory.
