KWGD Announces Scholarship Award Recipients

The Law Firm of Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., L.P.A. is pleased to announce that its annual “Samuel Krugliak Legal Student Scholarship” has been awarded to three recipients: Josh Henniger, Samuel B. Lioi and Heather Steele. 

Josh Henniger received his B.A. in Accounting from Walsh University DeVille School of Business where he was a member of the Sigma Belta Delta Honor Society. He is currently a Juris Doctor candidate at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.

Samuel V. Lioi received his Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from Mercyhurst University where he majored in Competitive Business Intelligence Studies and Political Science. He is currently a Juris Doctor Candidate at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law where he is a recipient of the Eminent Scholar award and a member of the Business Law Society.

Heather Steele received her Bachelor of Liberal Arts from the University of Massachusetts Lowell where her area of concentration was Pre-Law and Political Science. She is currently a candidate for Juris Doctor at The University of Akron School of Law. 

“The recipients of these awards represent the characteristics exemplified by our late founding attorney, Sam Krugliak, whom this scholarship honors,” said Director, Ronald W. Dougherty, member of the firm’s Scholarship Committee. “We believe their academic achievements and deep commitment to civic involvement, along with the strong desire to practice in the area after completing graduation, are commendable.” The Samuel Krugliak scholarship is awarded annually to assist law students who exemplify the firm’s ethics and who intend to practice law in any one of the geographic regions served by the firm within the counties of Stark, Wayne, Tuscarawas, Carroll, Summit, Holmes, Mahoning or Columbiana.
